The Montezuma Waterfalls, trail and aerial bridges
A set of three waterfalls of 5 meters, 12 meters, and 25 meters in height, the safest way to access them is from the Suntrails’ trail, which includes aerial bridges and a forest walk. Once there you can enjoy a refreshing soak in the naturally occurring pools at the base of the 5m and 25m falls.
The town of Montezuma
A picturesque town surrounded by nature is located 700 meters from the hotel. There you will find supermarkets, artisan shops, good restaurants and bars. This is a beautiful place to enjoy both day and night.
The white sands of Montezuma Beach, located just 100 meters from town, are ideal for sunbathing, swimming, or going for walks. They are also home to the NGO for marine turtle conservation ASVO. If you are lucky you might be in town during laying and/or hatching times and will be able to observe these amazing sea creatures.
Cabo Blanco National Park
Costa Rica’s first protected area, Cabo Blanco has two trails available to guests an hour and a half forest hike or a two hour trip to its principle beach, Playa Cabo Blanco.
Located in the Paquera community this park is ideal for walking and seeing wildlife. The area consists of a beach and different habitats to visit and enjoy.
Santa Teresa BEACH
An enormous white sand beach ideal for surfing, it has a variety of restaurants, stores, and banks.
Cabuya Island Cemetery
An island full of history located in a traditional fishing village. The humble people of this community with time have created this island sanctuary for their deceased loved ones. An interesting facet of this island is that you can walk there during low tide.
